FunHQ was an all-day indoor play experience created for families during Bainbridge Island’s Grand Old Fourth of July, hosted inside the Great Room at Bainbridge Island Rowing Center. Designed as a weather-friendly, high-energy hub during a busy community holiday, FunHQ offered a welcoming space where families could drop in, play, and recharge throughout the day while staying close to the heart of the festivities.
The experience featured two bounce houses, high-quality arts and crafts, a dedicated toddler play area, interactive games, festive movies running continuously on a projector, and The Lightning Booth photo booth as a central attraction. Concessions were sold on site by Bainbridge Island Rowing, adding to the ease and longevity of the experience for guests. From layout planning and activity flow to full-day staffing and execution, FunHQ demonstrated how thoughtful indoor programming can elevate large community events by creating inclusive, engaging spaces for all ages.
